In the last episode of the second season, an anime conclusion special was announced. Ī 24-episode second season aired from January to June 2018. The series was simulcast by Funimation, who released an English dub on August 7, 2016. From second season, the ending theme is "Saihakkenden!" ( Ψ発見伝！) by Denpagumi.inc. From the thirteenth compiled episode onwards, the ending theme is "Kokoro" ( こころ, Heart) by Hanae. The opening themes are "Seishun wa Zankoku janai" ( 青春は残酷じゃない, Youth Isn't So Cruel) by Natsuki Hanae, "Sai-Sai-Saikōchō!" ( 最Ψ最好調！, The Most Favorable!) by Denpagumi.inc from the thirteenth compiled episode onwards and "Saihakkenden!" ( Ψ発見伝！) by Denpagumi.inc from second season, while the ending theme, also used for the short episodes, is "Psi desu - I Like You" ( Ψです I LIKE YOU) by Denpagumi.inc.

The characters may finally get to move on with their lives, but I'll keep thinking of them.The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. I'm so happy that I got to watch 56 mostly-amazing episodes of this show. The psy kickers even took a train out in the middle of the night to help with a mystery quest, and they literally saved the world with the power of friendship! Like! I love that shit! It was really touching to see Nendou's unconditional acceptance of Saiki, to see Kaidou caring so much that Saiki is keeping secrets, to see Yumehara finally bolster up the courage to ask Kaidou out, to see that Saiko does care about everyone in the group. I appreciate that they show us so many different possibilities- Saiki can tell everyone, he can wait a while, he can suppress his powers, he can get them back (Reawakened.) Kind of a choose-your-own-adventure.īut whatever happens, he's still going to have his friends.I've grown to really love all these characters, because despite how silly they are, they have depth, and they're mostly good people.
